It looks like a fairy home, but it's not. Take note of the "fingers." This critter is a Tree Spirit, a devious, dangerous and hungry predator. He must be really old or maybe even dead, though, because these guys typically live in the forest for safety and disguise. If a curious creature were to investigate the opening, thinking it a fairy door, would soon find itself grabbed and devoured.</span><br /><div></div>Pam Halterhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13980301862494655691noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21982531013711725.post-45358086964230256282010-01-13T07:26:00.001-05:002010-01-13T07:27:26.391-05:00New Photos Needed!<span style="font-family:georgia;">I need more Fantasy Photos! Kim is the illustrator who created the header for Fairies, Fantasy and Faith. And being an artist, she couldn't resist capturing it on paper ... with a magical addition, of course!<br /><div></div></div>Pam Halterhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13980301862494655691noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21982531013711725.post-81728395899095432362009-06-26T07:03:00.001-04:002009-06-26T07:10:11.540-04:00Hidden Fairy Doors<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjojmrmIREfh0kKeiiAIsTbO2i5Bv67vWPLbTrbxPYNH_FHFma7HhtPCYN9GOjK_23Vi5u_8nHJ6AyAhsZ8Eq9CsNHIxuB2ufPC9Ir6FUkXNjgrL-01KWoThEgngQLtWQ3Pok_LuG7P7-g/s1600-h/tree+roots.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 214px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5351590702550410690" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjojmrmIREfh0kKeiiAIsTbO2i5Bv67vWPLbTrbxPYNH_FHFma7HhtPCYN9GOjK_23Vi5u_8nHJ6AyAhsZ8Eq9CsNHIxuB2ufPC9Ir6FUkXNjgrL-01KWoThEgngQLtWQ3Pok_LuG7P7-g/s320/tree+roots.jpg" /></a> This wonderful picture was sent by Fairies, Fantasy and Faith friend, Christine. This obvious fairy home sits next to her son's school. Christine says, "I am certain that there are some fairy doors hidden here. The question is, which are real doors and which are false?"<br /><div></div>Pam Halterhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13980301862494655691noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21982531013711725.post-29971202382894943282009-06-19T20:03:00.001-04:002009-06-19T20:07:46.305-04:00Water Fairies Live Here<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhkDzumcnEqUtM96tlo-Xhq_UtxK58Eu8E67tuWBlF4bk7xf20lwb4jh1V0Cj49VE3p3FvKHtybWKWOyTcYzucjlV_Yiynvz91Wdh59HEMH_3rjCf7pk4UUWFtLPQq-yOvkE7giGH1j6QA/s1600-h/Crue+Weekend+at+Nancys+004.jpg"><img style="TEXT-ALIGN: center; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; DISPLAY: block; HEIGHT: 214px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5349193945494175154" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhkDzumcnEqUtM96tlo-Xhq_UtxK58Eu8E67tuWBlF4bk7xf20lwb4jh1V0Cj49VE3p3FvKHtybWKWOyTcYzucjlV_Yiynvz91Wdh59HEMH_3rjCf7pk4UUWFtLPQq-yOvkE7giGH1j6QA/s320/Crue+Weekend+at+Nancys+004.jpg" /></a> This picture comes from Nancy's house, too. See the openings in the rocks at the edge of the lake? Those are water fairy homes. Water fairies are hard to see clearly, but when you're looking into the water and you see a silver flash, that's a water fairy. Some people will say it's fish, but that's only a disguise.<br /><div></div>Pam Halterhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13980301862494655691noreply@blogger.com0
